Q: What is a diabetic wellness chef?

Chef Alicia serves as ac culinary consultant, assisting clients [with Pre-Diabetes, Type 2 Diabetes, and/or Gestational Diabetes] in translating their medical team’s dietetic recommendations into delicious, and practicable, culinary guidelines for the home kitchen.

One of the greatest obstacles to treating Type 2 Diabetes is a patient’s ability to adopt lasting dietary changes.

Chef Alicia’s primary goal is to help clients crave their vegetables, as research shows that a plant-based diet can prevent, manage, and even reverse the disease. Individualized consultations are paramount to developing delectable plant-forward menus that excite each unique palate.
